What is findom? Financial domination explained
Findom is short for financial domination, a consensual kink in which one person (the dominant) takes control of, or receives money from, another person (the submissive) as the central act of an erotic power exchange. The thrill is not the goods the money buys, it is the surrender of the money itself.
How findom works
In a findom dynamic, a submissive sends money, called a tribute, to a dominant as an expression of devotion and giving up control. There is no product being sold; the transfer of funds is the experience. Tributes can be one-off gifts, recurring allowances, or playful games where the submissive is teased into sending more.
The roles: findomme and paypig
- Findomme / findom / money mistress / master, the dominant who receives tributes and directs the dynamic. "Findomme" usually refers to a woman.
- Paypig / cash slave / money slave / finsub, the submissive who finds pleasure in giving money away and being financially controlled. We cover this side in What is a paypig?
Consent and safety come first
Healthy findom is consensual, opt-in, and bounded. Good practice includes setting a budget you can genuinely afford to part with, never sending money you need for essentials, keeping identity and banking details private, and remembering that all tributes are given freely and are not investments or purchases. Anyone can walk away at any time.
Findom on FinBid
FinBid is a public creator bid leaderboard. Fans bid on a creator's X handle to push them up one global board, and every bid is added to that handle's running total. Listings are opt-in and creators verify ownership through X, so no one is added against their will. If you are new to how the ranking works, read how a creator bid leaderboard works.
FinBid is an adults-only (18+) platform. Nothing here is financial advice.
