Privacy

What we store

• Listings — an X handle, a display name, a tagline, the total bid, and click count. A handle appears only because someone bid it or its owner claimed it.
• Claims — when an owner verifies via X, we store their X user id to mark the listing verified. We request read-only access (tweet.read, users.read) and never post or read private data.
• Bids — an append-only record of amount and timestamp per successful payment, linked to the handle.

What we never see

Card numbers and billing details are handled entirely by Dodo Payments (our Merchant of Record). FinBid never receives or stores them.

What lives in your browser

We keep a light-/dark-theme preference in local storage, and a short-lived checkout reference in session storage. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

No scraping

We do not scrape or bulk-import accounts. Data comes only from bids people choose to make and from owners who choose to claim their listing.

Your choices

If you own a handle, you can claim, edit, or remove your listing at any time — see Remove a listing. You can request deletion of your data, and we will remove your listing and X association.

Sharing

We share data only with the processors that run the service (Dodo Payments for payments, Supabase for the database, X for verification). We do not sell personal data.
